Testimonials
In Education, it’s all too easy to overlook the impact of some of the professionals who work with us.
We have been incredibly fortunate to work with Mindstage support, The depth of impact sit has had on children is far more profound.
Mindstage support put’s children at ease, connecting with them almost immediately and not by using any sophisticated psychological techniques but just by lowering the interpersonal threshold with conversation and then using games to create a safe space for them to chat.
As is always the case when children feel safe, they are more willing to speak and, at times, share personal and sensitive information. Mindstage support has been instrumental in supporting our pastoral team with the sharing of appropriate and previously unknown information which has at times directly led to action being taken in the best interests of children and families.
Mindstafe support has given our school immeasurable value.
Kings Rise would wholeheartedly recommend Mindstage support to any school who needs something a little different to unlock the hearts and minds of staff and pupils.
Lydia- Deputy head- Kingsrise school
The weekly sessions provided a unique and invaluable space for our children to express themselves in a safe, creative, and supportive environment. Through carefully structured activities and thoughtful facilitation, the sessions helped children develop emotional literacy, build confidence, and foster empathy—not just towards others, but towards themselves.
The transformative power of drama, when combined with such skilled guidance, offered our children a voice, a sense of agency, and a renewed sense of self-worth.
We observed noticeable improvements in the emotional regulation, resilience, and social interactions of the children who participated.
I would wholeheartedly recommend the Mindstage Support Program to any school looking to enhance the emotional wellbeing of their children.
Mandip Nandhra-Deputy Headteacher- Warren farm primary school
Sessions have helped children understand and share emotions on a deeper level. Children look forward to sessions weekly.
-Mrs Day, Year 4, Kingsthorne primary school
It has been wonderful to see and hear children open up and share their own experiences that have not verbalised it previously. Children are now coming to members of our pastoral team, asking to do Mindstage techniques to regulate. It has been powerful in exploring the uncomfortable feelings and emotions in a way that is not suitable for whole class teaching.
-Mrs Kelly Steatham, SENDCo & Deputy DSL Glenmead Primary School
Children have been given a chance to share and understand emotions on a much deeper level weekly. They have learnt techniques to manage negative feelings and have chance to learn in a fun, open environment.
-Mr Buchan, Year 4, Kingsthorne primary school
I have had the privilege of working with many practitioners who enrich the lives of our pupils. However, Mindstage stands out as a truly exceptional, the impact has been profound and transformative.
Mindstage ability to connect with pupils who have a range of complex needs is nothing short of remarkable. Their empathetic and personalised approach ensures that every child feels seen, valued, and empowered. Techniques rooted in drama and the arts create a safe and expressive space for our students, enabling them to explore their emotions, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.
Sessions are dynamic and engaging, encouraging even the most reserved pupils to participate and thrive.
